Project Story

Our client had one goal: do it right the first time. He came to us with a rough hand sketch, an earlier proposal, and open questions about scope and cost. We talked through his priorities and planned the work in an order that fit his budget.

Out front, we installed a new walkway and foundation plantings, with edge stone to keep mulch in the beds and the lines crisp. In the side yard, we transplanted existing plants for screening and added flowering perennials that blend with what was already growing. Out back, large stepping stones now lead to a patio that used to sit apart from the rest of the yard, and walkway lighting makes the path easy to follow after dark.

Each phase set up the next, and the project stayed within budget. The property now feels unified from the front walk to the back patio, and it looks as good in the evening as it does in the afternoon.

  • Edge stone along landscape beds to contain mulch and hold clean lines
  • Existing side-yard plants transplanted for screening, with flowering perennials layered in
  • Large stepping stones connecting the yard to the backyard patio
  • Walkway lighting for easy navigation in the evening
